So, tomorrow I get out of going to school! Yay! I'm going with a friend to a youth convention thing in Phoenix. It's called Dare2Share. I still have to pack... Hehe! Ugh, I took an english test today, and my teacher was really mean. I don't think she likes me... Not cool. O, so we finished watching Swing Kids today in my history class. Awesome movie, but there's some really sad stuff in it...(tear) Alright, well, have a good weekend! Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. from 1 Corinthians 13 Tags: dare2share, love chapter, phoenix, swing kids Current Location: Phoenix, soon enuf Current Music: It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing...

Really now. I don't even like the food. Ugh. I was standing there, stirring minced celery that looked like a St. Patrick's Day decoration gone wrong, and I just couldn't take it any more. I started writing in my head. Writing about my dislike of Thanksgiving food. I didn't come up with a ton, but it's from the heart. Happy reading! I’ve never been big on Thanksgiving. The thought of it all is nice, but in my opinion, that’s way too much effort for a meal that lasts less than an hour. It’s not that I’m against Thanksgiving. I do have many great Thanksgiving memories. But these come from the people I’m with, not the food I eat. I don’t like all the spices and extra garnishes. I like my food plain and simple. My sister calls it boring. One thing that bothers me is all the time spent preparing the meal. It’s alright if you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor after your hard work is done, but for me, all the extra nuts, fruits and celery dumped into everything ruins an otherwise perfectly good meal. THIS INCLUDES THE JELL-O!!! Please, leave my yummy Jell-O alone! No! Stop! You’re killing it!!! (sigh of defeat) Do people really think that I have nothing better to do the week of Thanksgiving than clean and cook? The conspiracy must have also reached my teachers. Perhaps they forgot that we had the week off for a holiday. They couldn’t restrain themselves from assigning homework. So not only do I have to cook and clean, I have two major projects to do. But please don’t think I’m not grateful. I am thankful for all I have. But why did they have to ruin my Jell-O?
